Company Profile - Larry Wilson

Larry Wilson, is the founder and president of Dynamic Performance Group Inc. The company was established in 1998 as a management consulting firm to provide small businesses with sales and marketing assistance. Since 1999, Larry has worked with government sponsored programs that assist start-up enterprises with the development of business and marketing plans. During that period of time he has mentored more than two hundred start-ups through the stages of successful planning. He has also developed a series of seminars that he has delivered for the business centres that administer the assistance programs. These are heavily weighted toward marketing and one includes the development of effective websites and sound Internet strategies. In November 2000, DPG launched a niche Internet wilderness travel resource centre, CanadaWilderness.com® which has grown to be a very popular site attracting visitors from around the world. Larry established a network of specialists that enable DPG to provide SME's with complete solutions to most any business challenge. The company has grown substantially in providing clients with complete Internet strategies including site design, development including programmed integration of databases, hosting and maintenance. The customer list is growing steadily and Dynamic Performance Group now has many customers in Muskoka, Simcoe, Toronto, York and Halton Region. Larry wrote a monthly column in Muskoka Business called the Small Business Planner which provided valuable planning tips on a number of topics. He also instructed part-time at Georgian College teaching web development and general business courses. Formerly a Regional Sales Manager with Equifax Inc., Larry has a very diversified background that started in law enforcement. He has been involved with the operation of businesses in publishing and graphic arts; studied marketing at York University in Toronto, is a certified Microsoft Office User Specialist and a licenced pilot. When time allows, he enjoys riding his motorcycle and golfing.
